Brazil in the H2020 Program

Horizon 2020 is open to everyone and all countries to allow new projects to get off the ground quickly and achieve results faster. Yet, it is important to clarify that not all international partners are automatically eligible for funding of Horizon 2020. To be able to apply for funding, Brazil, for example, should be included or mentioned in specific calls as a country of interest to the subject or by means of its institutions. Otherwise, individual Brazilian researchers are always eligible for EU funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Individual Fellowships and under the European Research Council programme.
